Residential real estate values in the valley have been increasing at a rate of 6-9 % in recent years. As a result, it's become more expensive to buy a home in recent years; only tempered by historically low mortgage interest rates.
Home values in the South Mountain and Laveen and even Ahwatukee, follow that trend, however, they remain some of the best values in the Valley of the Sun, with prices ranging under $250K in many locations and equity building every day on quality new, newer and seasoned homes. Some real bargains do still exist at even lower prices.

What is a Buyer’s Representative?
Only members of the National Association of Realtors may call themselves "Realtors". Realtors adhere to a strict code of ethics and are charged to maintain a high level of professional conduct in all their business activities.
A Buyer's Representative or "agent" is a Realtor that works for and owes fiduciary responsibilities to, the real estate buyer exclusively. Buyer's Representatives do not generally list properties. Buyer Representatives focus their time and efforts and resources specifically on the buyer's home buying efforts and thus treat their clients as a "Preferred Customer". Most Buyer's Representatives are also members of the Real Estate buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) and / or the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) to enhance their resources and professional credibility.
